Bankia has donated twelve computer equipment to the Cehegín City Council destined to launch a Permanent Training Classroom for the unemployed and other vulnerable groups in which, thanks to these equipment, computer courses, office automation and other training areas tutored by specialized personnel will be taught with the aim of reducing the digital divide.
The event took place at the Cehegín City Hall and was attended by the mayor of Cehegín, Alicia del Amor, and the director of the Bankia office in Cehegín, Francisco José Alarte.
The mayor thanked "this gesture of solidarity that this entity has had with the city council which will be a very beneficial tool for all the people to whom it is intended, in this case the unemployed and people with vulnerability."
“Therefore, he pointed out, what Bankia is doing today is joining these solidarity and humanitarian initiatives, which are what our citizens demand of us for their well-being. Thank you very much again for this donation, which I thank on behalf of all Cehegineros ”.
For his part, Francisco José Alarte, assured that “Bankia is proud to be able to support the Cehegín City Council with our teams in setting up a Training Classroom that will improve the employability of our neighbors. We are convinced that it is the best way to give a second life to our equipment that will be delivered in the next few days ”.
